This is the end of the year update from our land project Yashodapura Eco Village (YEV). Currently, we have 4 cows and 2 calves on the farm, every day they are taken care of by our cowherd-man who is currently staying near our land. In this year’s rainy season all of them are grazing on the area around 2,5 hectares in YEV and sometimes also they go outside to get more grass.

On a regular basis such as Purnima (Full moon day) we always perform Go-puja, we did also on the most auspicious appearance day Of Lord Vamana Deva and also a Go-puja was performed on the request of our devotee friend, HG Jay Radhika Mataji, on the day of her auntie’s funeral ceremony.

For your kind information, on September 15th, 2021, I got married to a Cambodian lady. With all the blessings and supports from HH Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaja and all the devotees involved, we did a simple ceremony according to Khmer and Chinese traditions, and the Vivaha Yajna was performed by HG Kumudaksa Prabhu. At present both of us moved to the village and live at the first kutir in Vedic Cultural Education Center (VCEC), and we hope that we can continue to serve Guru, Srila Prabhupada, and Lord Jagannath here at this project.

At the end of this year we harvested our Paddy at YEV, currently, there are about 4 hectares of land were used for growing Rice, some are on account of Paddy shared with some local families and also our ashram has its own plot of rice which we just harvested at the same time. This year the productions are lesser than the previous year because of the rain come late. In the next few days, we will collect the productions and calculate how much we will get the share from the local families, and also how much rice our ashram produces.

The month of December is the beginning of the winter and it’s good to grow some green leafy vegetables. At the VCEC we’ve started to do some gardening. As of now, the construction work is somewhat stagnant due to the COVID situation causing less manpower.

Our Cambodia Yatra is guided by HG Kala Prabhu (ACBSP) and the other supporters are working on preaching and book distribution in order to push forward our Krishna consciousness mission and bring in more and more Cambodians into the movement, hopefully, in the next few years, more devotees will manifest.

HG Kumudaksa Prabhu who is heading the preaching in the city and doing the book distribution is very enthusiastic to spread Krishna consciousness. Another fresh breeze came recently from HG Kisora Krishna Prabhu who was informing that he is planning to bring another two bhaktas from Indonesia to help the project and the ashram. So in any situation, we are all trying to keep our positive thinking and keeping our faith that Lord Krishna and his devotees will always help us to manifest Srila Prabhupada’s desire.

Thank you very much.

Hare Krishna
